Love Peace and Chicken Grease

So one of those late night videos I just watched was insane. It was about Joseph Kony, leader of this children army in Africa that forces them to kill their own family. There is this worldwide movement going on, and they are doing a “Cover the Night” on April 20th where Americans will post as many posters and stickers around their city as they can. I really want to do this.

The whole point is to make people aware of this Kony dude who has abducted over 30,000 children in the past 25 years.

So I know this seems like just another “boo-hoo poor other people” post, but why not pay attention for once? Make a difference. What do you got to lose? The children, they have everything to lose.

So Yeah…

I don’t really open up to people. I do speak about personal issues but I don’t really tell how I feel. I’m all anger and regret. I haven’t opened up since 7th grade with Erika. I hate being my only therapist, and I hate life really. I only joke around so much so I can avoid hurt. Because, as always, “The funniest people in the world are always the most depressed.”

So Yeah…

Agh

I hate it when I think I can handle something, and I can’t. And I repeat the same mistake like 8398593 times. So frustrating. Oh well, nothing bad happened, so whatever.

Government.

So here is how I see things. Congress controls alot of America. And each person in congress has a price. A company approaches a congressman, offers x amount of dollars IF THE CONGRESSMAN VOTES this or that on a bill or whatever. So the congressman forgets any and all moral or ethical issues that arise when it comes to the bill becoming a law and affecting the people. He instead focuses on how his voting on the bill will affect his pocket book. They debate whether this or that sponsor will stop paying them if they vote yay or nay. THAT IS A HUGE REASON WHY CONGRESS GETS NOTHING DONE. Greedy people sit and wait for more money. So, isn’t there something wrong with this picture? Should not there be laws? Well there are. But they are obviously too weak, OBVIOUSLY. People say there should be less government, less interference with the people. But that’s just it: WITH THE PEOPLE. Shouldn’t the people who are controlling millions of people in one of the supposedly strongest nations be regulated by laws that are OBVIOUSLY DECENT? Nope, because the people who are needed to pass this law are the ones who are “negatively affected”. The congressman. So much fuss is over the President because he is a figurehead and all that. He is just a distraction from the real monsters ruining our country. Come on people, get your heads out of your butts and wake up.
